Safety.

We have a strict no smoking policy.

Visitors should be aware that old buildings can be fragile and are not built to modern standards.

Windows, are delicate and are fitted with very thin glass, please refrain from opening them.

Floors, are uneven and polished, they present both slip and trip hazards, they can also be damaged by high-heeled shoes.

Please be aware of steps, slopes and low doors in addition to the floors.

Please be careful!

Fire, there are smoke alarms fitted to landings and stairwells, in the event of fire these will issue a loud bleeping noise. (Please ask if you would like to hear the alarms.)
On hearing the alarm you should immediately make your way out of the building.
The main staircase leads to the front door while the smaller staircase leads to a side door or the back door through the dining room and kitchen.

No smoking indoors

Please do not drink the tap water in the rooms, water is provided separately.
